Owner, Dana Hood.- "Welcome to my dream. I created For The Love of Dog 5 years ago with the idea of a wonderful, perfect place that I would feel honored to leave my dog. Every dog here is loved, just as our own. Everyone working here has a deep purpose involving dogs. We are a family and are so happy to have you join us."
Robb Horen- " Being a part of For The Love of Dog since day one has been one of the most special parts of my life. As we continue to make every dog happy, balanced and cherished I have the pleasure of witnessing these incredible transformations. I am thankful for all the connections I have made and will continue to experience."
Rodrigo Tomasi has over 8 years of experience handling dogs. He has been with For the Love of Dog for over 3 years and has a close relationship with all the dogs. He is also a dog trainer and offers private tutoring at the daycare. He is the best trainer we have ever had at For The Love of Dog.
Jesse Nance- "I have loved dogs my whole life. There is no better companion or loyal friend and I admire their strong desire to love and be loved. My future hope for dogs is that society can find ways to help control the dog population and eliminate the mistreatment and abandonment of these wonderful creatures."
Danielle Valks has worked with dogs for two years, but she doesn't consider spending her days with dogs to be anything close to work! She loves being with groups of playing doggies and is enjoying learning a new dog philosophy at For The Love Of Dog. One that has made a difference in her experience of dogs forever.
Oryan Renaissance has a passion for fun. When the doggies see her, you can practically see them grin from ear to ear. She plays with them all day long and makes it her duty to see that each and every dog is exercised well and has their daily dose of hugs and kisses. She is pictured here with her corgi, Banjo.
Bonnie Scott -"Dogs are my best and most loyal friends. If I am having a bad day I can always count on a happy wagging tail to brighten me up. I will always have dogs my life. They are the family and best friend that everybody should have. I am honored to spend my days with all these incredible babies."
Bethany Lucas- "I am a student at Bel-Rea learning the medical aspect of treating animals, but after all that studying, I can't wait to come in and just play with all the dogs. I love getting to know all of their personalities and ensuring they have a great time, just like my own dog does here."
Jessica Thompson - "Working at For the love of dog is so rewarding. All the dogs have their own personalities and special qualities, I'm so happy to be with them. It doesn't feel at all like work.I always miss the dogs on my day off and judging from their excitement when I return, I think they miss me too."
Nick Hoppman- "The best part about working with dogs is the reward you get at the end of the day, when they're lying there exhausted with a huge smile spread across their face. Or when I first come in early in the morning & they greet me as if they have been waiting their whole lives to see me."

Seth Hatland-

"This is quite possibly the best job I've ever had. I love "working" (playing) with dogs. Each dog has their own unique personality and each day brings a new experience, which I love!"

Dean Adams- "Working at For The Love of Dog has been fun and rewarding. I have always been a dog lover. I grew up with a poodle, an irish setter and a red doberman. I love many breeds now. It's especially fun here in the summer when we play outside with the pools and water toys."

Tobias Miller- "My favorite part of this job is arriving and seeing all my dog friends. It's an amazing feeling to come into a space with dozens of wagging tails and dogs jumping over eachother just to be the first to say hello. I love being the pack leader and I have the best pack I could ever hope for."

Bella is our very own canine alarm specialist. With her ear-splitting vocal chords, no one ever slips in the door unnoticed! She works extremely long hours here at For The Love of Dog and has never once lost her voice.
We have several other experienced and loving staff members, many of whom are students at Bel-Rea to become Veterinary Technicians.  They all undergo training in dog handling and animal behavior.  And most importantly, they all love your dog as much as you do.
